This isn't just for men. I'm a woman and I love this stuff for a variety of reasons. First, it holds my hair in place without making me feel like I'm wearing a helmet on my head. My hair still feels like my hair, only it stays where I want it to. Second, this product has no scent at all, which I highly appreciate. Most other pomades I've tried (especially those marketed to women) could double as perfume/cologne. The Challenger Clean Cream pomade smells like...nothing, which is exactly what I want. I highly recommend this product to anyone, man or woman, who is looking for a great fragrance free pomade that still leaves hair feeling like itself, but holds it in place well.
Decided to give this product a try and I’m really happy so far. I’m not really into overly fragrant hair products, so this being fragrance free was a big plus. Holds through the day. Super easy to apply.
It works and a little goes a long way. I am extra sensitive and this doesn’t break me out at all. I’ve been using it for a little over a month and I have a good amount left. It washes out easily and doesn’t feel like it’s building up on your hair. The only critique I have is that it can kind of dry like a white overcast and it sets too quickly, but wetting your hands and working with the product takes care of both of those issues. It’s also a little pricey, but I will continue to use it. It’s worth it for me to not break out.
Really great product! I’m very sensitive to fragrances, and this has no smell at all. Not to mention it holds my hair in place all day long and it’s not oily or greasy. Love it!
Does not flake as advertised. I wanted to like this cleaner ingredient product, but it irritated my scalp unfortunately when I would use it. Also it is pretty steep.
